Space Enterprise at Berkeley will be the FIRST TEAM TO ATTEMPT a Lander Challenge milestone. If successful they will be awarded $15,000! They’ll attempt to hotfire a 600 pound-force liquid rocket engine and demonstrate thrust vector control (TVC) capabilities (active control of the engines thrust direction). The attempt will take place at Friends of Amateur Rocketry (FAR), a test site for rocketry located ~130 miles away from Los Angeles, California.
